30 Projects, 1 mission

Climate Cycle’s mission is to inspire the nation into action around climate change.

Every project I’m visiting shares a unique way we can help save the planet and falls within one of five themes: Food, travel, fun, home and nature.

Explore the diverse projects under each theme, and ways that you can get involved during Climate Cycle and beyond:

Project Themes

Food

Explore the world of food with a climate lens: From living off the land to bug farms, there are numerous ways we can switch up what we eat to reduce our climate impact.

Travel

We need to get around, yet we can do this more sustainably. Slow travel (where the journey is the trip) and e-cycling are just two examples of how we can keep moving while minimising our impact.

Home

Saving the planet doesn’t have to cost the earth, and sometimes it can also save us money. These projects explore ways we can switch damaging chemicals to natural ones, different ways we can create community, reducing our plastic footprint and many more.

Nature

Mother Earth needs us to help her repair from the damage being caused. Rewilding projects for our land and water, as well as promoting insect life are beautiful and easy ways we can help give Nature a helping hand.

Fun

Life isn’t meant to be serious, and we can keep enjoying ourselves while also doing a bit better towards living a more sustainable life. Free wooden surfboard hire, relay runs and a vegan football club are a few projects that will inspire us to keep smiling and having fun.
