About Kate

Helping people step into stronger leadership, bolder action and more meaningful lives.

Helping people move beyond limitation into meaningful action

“Life is not something we are meant to simply get through. We are meant to fully live it.”

Kate Strong is a speaker, coach, world-record athlete and impact campaign creator whose work helps people move beyond limitation, fear and compromise — and into meaningful action.

For over two decades, she has studied and applied the psychology of resilience, behaviour change, leadership and human performance through both professional coaching and lived experience.

But what makes Kate’s work different is not simply what she has achieved.

It is that she has repeatedly rebuilt herself from difficult moments, challenged her own limitations, and consciously created a life aligned with courage, purpose and growth — and now helps others do the same.

Through coaching, speaking and ambitious impact projects, Kate supports individuals and organisations ready to think bigger, lead differently and take action towards what truly matters.

A different perspective on growth

For many years, Kate lived according to what she thought she should do.

She studied engineering, built a successful business and pursued conventional markers of success, yet still felt disconnected from the life she intuitively knew she wanted to create.

Like many high-performing people, she became very good at functioning while quietly feeling unfulfilled.

It was only after experiencing emotional burnout, financial difficulty and the breakdown of a long-term relationship that she realised something needed to change.

Not externally.
Internally.

Rather than continuing to live reactively, Kate began consciously rebuilding her life around challenge, honesty, courage and meaningful action.

That process became the foundation of the coaching work she now offers others.

Because real transformation rarely begins when everything feels comfortable.
It begins when we decide we no longer want to abandon ourselves.

From survival to conscious action

Kate took up running as part of rebuilding her life.

Within a few years, she became an Age-Group World Triathlon Champion.

But the deeper lesson was never about sport.

It was understanding that confidence, resilience and self-belief are not things we magically find — they are built through action, discomfort and repeatedly choosing growth over fear.

Since then, Kate has continued exploring what human potential truly looks like through:

  • world-record endurance challenges
  • leadership and coaching
  • environmental campaigns
  • behaviour change initiatives
  • mass participation projects
  • mentoring bold ideas into reality

This combination of lived experience and professional coaching allows her to support people not just intellectually, but practically and emotionally through real change.

Because insight alone does not change lives.
Action does.
