After gaining a great grounding, working with hundreds of SME’s as a Commercial Insurance Broker, Kieren began his own businesses in the Event management sector.
Far from being a “day one” success, Kieren faced multiple challenges including the outbreak of Foot & Mouth disease. As a result, he learned from an early stage the value of being able to pivot, responding to the many influences outside his control. He managed to overcome this setback, completely revamping the business model, in order to re-launch into the B2C market and growing the business to multiple venues around the UK.
After successfully exiting the company, Kieren returned to working with professional services companies, to gain a different perspective on the world of the SME. As a professional advisor in PII, he gained a deep understanding of other professions, having worked with hundreds of law firms, accountants, IFA’s and others.
He is now, through Business Builder, sharing his experience, learnings and insights with other business owners and professionals.
