From logistics and strategy to emotional resilience when it matters most.
Kate served as crew chief for endurance athlete Sophie Power during multiple successful world-record attempts, providing strategic, logistical and emotional support throughout the challenges.
For Sophie’s successful world-record run across the length of Ireland, Kate managed everything from nutrition and route coordination to crowd management, recovery support and real-time decision making — cycling alongside Sophie as she ran continuously for three and a half days.
Kate also served as crew chief during Sophie’s successful 48-hour treadmill world record attempt, coordinating volunteers, managing Guinness World Record logistics and helping maintain performance across extreme physical and mental fatigue.
